AI Slug
Use AI to turn non-Latin titles into English URL slug candidates for posts, pages, and multilingual content drafts.
AI Slug
What is an AI slug?
AI Slug creates English URL slug candidates from Korean, Japanese, and other non-Latin titles by using AI to preserve the title meaning.
A regular slug generator is useful for cleaning spaces, punctuation, and casing in the browser. AI Slug is for cases where the title needs to be translated or rewritten into a readable English path segment.
The result is a publishing draft, not an automatic decision. Review meaning, brand wording, URL policy, and redirects before using any candidate on a public page.
How it works
Enter the original title, send it to the AI API, and get English slug options that keep the core message in a URL-friendly form.
When to use it
Use it for non-Latin or multilingual titles where direct character cleanup is not enough for a clear public URL.
What to verify
Check accuracy, brand fit, abbreviations, forbidden terms, existing paths, and redirect rules before publishing.
AI Slug speeds up slug drafting, but it does not replace editorial review, SEO judgment, compliance checks, or migration planning.

Frequently asked questions
What input and options can I use?
Enter a title or phrase, then choose a hyphen or underscore separator and whether to force lowercase. In supported Chrome browsers, Local AI can process it in the browser; if Local AI is not supported or you choose Server AI, the text is sent to the onul.works server and AI API for conversion.
What is the difference between Local AI and Server AI?
Local AI processes input text inside supported Chrome browsers. The first use may require downloading a model, and the size varies by environment and may be several GB, around 4 GB. Server AI has broader compatibility, but sends input text to the onul.works server and AI API for conversion.
Can I copy the generated slug directly?
Yes. The generated slug candidate appears in the result field, and the copy button lets you paste it into URLs, documents, or code.
How is this different from the regular Slug Generator?
This tool focuses on ai slug and slug ai workflows: turning non-Latin text into an English meaning candidate for URL slugs. It does not guarantee rankings, so review it against your actual URL policy.
