Frequently asked questions
Does this call an external API?
No. The V2 version does not call an external IP lookup API. It shows the request and proxy headers observed by the onul.works server.
Are country and ASN always shown?
No. They are shown only when the deployment or proxy forwards headers such as X-Client-REGION or X-ASN.
Is the displayed IP my device’s private IP?
No. It is the IP observed by the server for the request. With VPNs, proxies, and NAT, it can differ from the device’s private IP.
